Service Description

This is a 3 part series that will be held: March 13th, 14th, and 15th at 5:30pm You can choose a topic that interests you the most or you can save money and participate in all three. All three classes highly compliment each other for a well rounded curriculum. *Mindfulness Reset: March 13th at 5:30pm* Learn simple breathing exercises that calm an overactive mind Learn to take hold of the mind with the "What" Skills Interactive meditation that helps you practice mindfulness to reset your brain during times of stress. This class is geared towards helping those to look at situations differently and address their needs first before reacting to situations. Even if you aren't a "good mediator" this class is for you. *Somatic Movements: March 14th 5:30pm* 30 minutes of gentle beginner friendly movements that instantly help you come back to the present moment and reduce stress. Introduction of the "TIP" Skills that helps to reduce extreme emotions fast! Ends with a body scan meditation *Calm & Control Techniques: March 15th at 5:30pm* We are diving deep into distress tolerance skills including: The "STOP" skill Effective Rethinking & Paired Muscle Relaxation Handouts that help you learn how to self-soothe and distract your mind to help you increase your tolerance to distressing situations.
