Are you a Healer Lightworker?

Are you here to hold the light? Yes you are!
Are you here to hold the light? Yes you are!

People love discovering which lightworker they are. This is because it provides a sense of direction and understanding about who they are as a soul and what they came here to do. Your soul may have chosen to take on several types of lightwork. Akashic readings have helped thousands to uncover who they are as a soul. In an age of distraction and moving through the veil of forgetting when we are born and all of our social conditioning we can forget who we are and what we came here to do.

If you are unsure what a lightworker is and want to read more about each kind. You can read the blog post here : https://www.beethelightwellness.com/post/9-types-of-lightworkers and read about each one.

I have also provided a quiz to help you narrow down which lightworker you are. https://powellfamilyfitness.outgrow.us/powellfamilyfitness-5 While an Akashic Reading is the best way to determine and talk with your guides about which one you may be. This quiz gives a great start to your journey.

Here today we will dive into the Healer Lightworker and some of the most common questions about your lightworker type. Like what is a healer lightworker, different types of healers, common struggles, and how to tell if you are a healer lightworker.

What is a Healer Lightworker

A healer lightworker is someone that acts as a bridge from the higher realms to bring healing to either their self or to others. Often times they have no idea or way of knowing how they do this healing. That is because their heart centers and chakras are open. Their souls instinctively know how to enter the portal of their own hearts—or the hearts of others—and draw healing energy from the angelic realms or higher dimensions, bringing it into the physical 3D reality. While most healers eventually feel drawn to some kind of formal training like shamanism, reiki, herbalism etc. Their souls intuitively know how to do this work, and in life they work through their own healing - to a point- then when the time is right the opportunity to learn a healing modality becomes available to them.

*The caveat to this: You don't have to be completely healed yourself in order to heal others. Your healing never ends as its a continuous journey. A persons soul has carefully mapped out their life and the moment when the training comes available to them. However, we all have the free will to say yes when the opportunity comes to us.

The differnt types of Healer Lightworkers

A Healer Lightworker is someone whose soul purpose revolves around transmuting pain into peace, whether through energy healing, emotional support, bodywork, herbs, sound, intuitive medicine, or simply by being a grounding, compassionate presence. They often awaken after a deep personal healing crisis or trauma, which becomes the very portal that initiates them into their path.

While I have no way of covering every single type given the space constraint. I want to offer the main types of healers.

They are often:

  • Reiki healers

  • Shamans

  • Herbalists

  • Energy workers

  • Bodyworkers (massage, acupuncture, etc.)

  • Therapists, counselors, or holistic coaches

  • Nurses or medical practitioners with a spiritual core

  • Being the embodiment of Divine Mother Energy ~ healing your own mother line & nurturing your family & self

  • Embodiment of Divine Father Energy - healing your own father line & providing stability & protection for your family or self.

  • Sacred space holders like group facilitators

  • Cooks~ especially focusing on curating recipes and foods that are geared to heal the body or emotions. (Cooking is one of the oldest forms of alchemy)

This healing can be for yourself or for your family and doesn't have to extend into having an actual practice where you take clients and such.

What are the common struggles of Healer Lightworkers?

As a healer myself I have a lot to say on this subject because I've been there. If you are a healer reading this I want you to know that you are not the only one that is going through this. So I hope this will help you rise above these struggles.

  • Wounded Healer Syndrome: Many healers carry unhealed trauma and feel they must be fully healed before they can help others (which isn’t true). Most healer lightworkers will choose VERY difficult karma and lives for the younger years of their incarnation. That is because that struggle and karma is the portal that opens a remembering and deep desire to make sure no one ever feels like they did. Its the fire that ignites the passion. It's the initiation. However, the karma for the healer most often is how do they come out of their wounded healer phase and claim their power?

  • Energetic Overload: They take on too much emotional energy from others and feel drained or sick without proper energetic boundaries. Most commonly seen with empaths but can be any healer. This comes from a limiting belief that its the healers job to heal EVERYONE, which isn't so. Our souls create contracts with others. Meaning if you are a healer then your soul agreed with other certain souls to be that person's healer. It's important to learn disconnection techniques & grounding practices to maintain your energy levels.

  • Imposter Syndrome: A deep fear of “who am I to do this work?” despite being deeply gifted. I personally struggled with this one and the one thing I can tell you is the best way to come back at your ego on this is to say: "Who am I to question myself?" Your ego may come back and say things like you, "You don't know enough. OR You are making this shit up." To silence the ego in this regard, you will have to sit down with your ego and say, "I know enough for right now! OR What if I am?" The reason these work is because the ego doesn't know what to do with it. Because now with those questions you are no longer attached to a certain worry, fear, or outcome and it's less likely the ego will use it against you.

  • People-Pleasing: Over-giving, undercharging, or trying to “fix” everyone—often rooted in needing validation or love. You don't have to validate your exists, how good you are, or provide some amazing experience every time to a person or yourself for healing to happen. As long as your intentions are clear. "Why are you here today doing this healing?" IF you are unsure of a good enough intention, you can simply use:

    • To be the clearest channel I can be for the Higher Self of the client or myself

    • To be a clear conduit for healing energy to come through for the highest good of the client and of all.

  • Isolation: Feeling misunderstood, not heard, disconnected from others, or like they’re "too sensitive" or "too spiritual" for the world. This is old programing that your ego will use against you. Often times we refer to this as "witch wounding" where in past lives your killed for being "too (something)" This is where you Divine Feminine within needs to step up and nurture the shit out you. Not everyone is meant to receive your message or healing. Part of the karma of that person is to learn to "LISTEN" often times we hear but we don't listen. This comes back to people pleasing. Your message and who you are as a person is not determined by another person. So sit down:

    • Tend to your own inner garden~ take care of yourself

    • Remember who the heck you are!~ no one can do what you do HOW YOU do it

    • This is the time to start acknowledging your accomplishments and how far you have come

These times come in your life when you are in a state of constantly giving OUTWARD and not giving inward. How are you filling your cup? IF it seems to always be 1 person around you doing this, do you need to have the healing conversation? Do you need a boundary? Or maybe you need to realize that the message you are trying to convey isn't for them... its for you. Maybe a part of you needs to hear that you are perfect just the way you are and remember how strong you are.

  • Burnout: Forgetting to include themselves in the healing and giving more than they receive. The best thing to do first for this is:

    • Remember why you are doing this in the first place. If you are healing yourself: Remember how you felt before your healing began and your struggles that brought you to this place. Look how far you have come? If you are healing others: Connect to your why. You know you don't want anyone to feel the way you felt at the beginning of your journey.

Now that you have connected to your why

Ask yourself, "Have you or other people you have done sessions with experience change or growth?" (NOTICE: I didn't ask how much change or growth)

IF you feel different or more peaceful that you did before, then that is enough. So read this slowly:

PUT- THE-EXPECTATIONS - DOWN- AND- SLOWLY- STEP- AWAY- FROM-THEM

Please go do something nice for yourself. I don't care what it is. You have the free will and right to tell someone "no". IF they have a problem with it then what does that say about them?

How to tell if you are Healer LightWorker?

You might be one if you resonate with several of the following:

  • You’ve been through deep personal trauma and now feel called to help others through theirs.

  • Strangers or friends often open up to you and feel safe around your energy.

  • You have a natural ability to sense where others are hurting (emotionally, physically, or energetically).

  • You’re drawn to healing arts, intuitive work, or spiritual practices.

  • You often feel called to “fix,” help, or support those in pain.

  • You feel drained or overwhelmed in large groups or around people in distress.

  • You’re always looking for natural or spiritual ways to heal yourself and others.

  • You feel a soul-deep knowing that your purpose is to serve, uplift, or transform lives.

What to do next?

Your healing journey starts with you. Start by doing healing work on yourself:

This could be :

  • Shadow work

  • Inner child work

  • Boundary work

  • Meditation and grounding ~ how do you deal with anxiety?

  • What types of healing do gravitate to?

    • Energy work and you are interested in Reiki.

    • Are you interested in medicinal holistic remedies maybe look at herbalism

    • Are you a fitness nerd but looking at ways to calm the body and get deeper in a mindfulness discipline while nurturing your body look into yoga

  • We don't have to necessarily teach or work on others. Ask yourself, "Are you really being called to teach or help others AT THIS TIME?" If not that's ok. What do you need to dive into for you, and find a guide or teacher for your healing.

IF you are looking for a place to learn and heal yourself and place where other lightworkers can support you too. The Lightworker Sisterhood is calling you and I hope you will look into it more: https://www.beethelightwellness.com/lightworkersisterhood
